Family Contact Worker

We are seeking a qualified Family Contact Worker to join our team. This role involves supervising and supporting safe family contact for children in care.

The ideal candidate will be based in Baulkham Hills, with travel to carer homes and community locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport and supervise family contact visits autonomously
  • Write clear, detailed reports soon after each visit
  • Support care plans with Case Managers
  • Identify and report child protection concerns
  • Manage visits when not in the child's best interest
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Community Services (or related field) preferred but not required
  • Valid Driver's Licence, WWCC, First Aid & NDIS clearance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage conflict and work with diverse families
  • Understanding of child safety and car restraint laws
