The Information Services Directorate provides integral services in information and communication technology to the entire Department. We partner with customers and stakeholders to support and drive innovative, digital, and customer-focused outcomes and services.

The Opportunity

As a Business Automation Development Lead, you will lead a technical team delivering major projects, ongoing improvements, and technical support for business process automation solutions using the Appian platform.

This role includes hands-on involvement in delivery of new business process automation solutions, maintenance tasks, and providing guidance and support to team members. It involves engagement with business stakeholders to understand process automation requirements, develop project proposals, and ensure sufficient resourcing is in place.

About You

You are an experienced leader who can drive the delivery of business process automation solutions. You have expertise in the Appian platform and a proven track record of solving complex problems and developing innovative technical solutions within large organisational environments.

Strong communication skills are essential for articulating ideas clearly and negotiating effectively with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to lead customer-focused, strategically aligned services, embrace change, manage risks, and implement complex solutions promptly is crucial for this role.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess strong leadership skills, be able to work collaboratively with others, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You will also need to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in business process automation and be able to apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios.
