Training and Development Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated Training Specialist to coordinate training initiatives across the site.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with teams and external providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain a robust training strategy;
  • Coordinate and support operational teams regarding internal training requirements;
  • Review and update training documentation and SOPs;
  • Ensure accurate and compliant training records and systems;
  • Manage and monitor training matrices;
  • Support onboarding, skills assessment, induction, and succession planning for manufacturing teams;
  • Liaise with external training providers and assist with scheduling and coordination;
  • Assist with reporting, compliance tracking, and continuous improvement projects;
  • Provide responsive support to supervisors and team members on training needs.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) - essential;
  • Cert III or IV in Meat Processing and AUS Meat credentials (desirable);
  • Experience in ELMO and HRIS systems;
  • Proven background in workplace training within food or manufacturing;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills;
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with confidence;
  • A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to continuously improve;
  • Culturally aware and inclusive, with the ability to engage diverse teams;
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite Monday to Friday.
