Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-performing team delivering exceptional results in urban development engineering designs.
  • Provide technical advice, direction, and oversight to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, external organizations, and clients to foster cooperation and maximize our technical offering.
  • Lead the development and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other teams and disciplines.
  • Champion the involvement and inclusion of interstate and overseas teams to enhance our service offering.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in engineering, preferably Civil Engineering, recognized by a relevant industry association or institute.
  • Chartered professional status or equivalent, with a postgraduate qualification highly regarded.
  • Extensive industry experience (minimum ten years) in urban development design, including overseeing engineering aspects of projects and applying standards and technical knowledge within the NSW urban development market.
  • Ability to provide technical expertise and direction through consultative support and effective communication to teams.
  • Experience leading, managing, mentoring, and developing large to medium-scale, diverse project teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
