About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Expert Leader to join our team at KBR Inc. as the Chief Technical Nuclear Advisor. This is a key position that will play a critical role in developing our company's brand and reputation in Australia as a trusted nuclear steward.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key Defence, civil, and academic organizations to position KBR as a trusted nuclear steward.
- Identify and pursue nuclear opportunities aligned with KBR's AUKUS go-to-market strategy.
- Collaborate with senior management, customers, governmental agencies, regulators, and vendors to achieve KBR's strategic goals.
- Provide independent technical advice to captures, projects, and leadership, and perform engineering work to verify KBR's capability of meeting requirements within customer constraints.
Requirements
- Provides thought leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Science/Engineering.
- At least 20 years of related experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Exceptional client and stakeholder management skills.
