Senior Product Category Development Manager

Job Role: As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our procurement strategy by leading category growth and innovation in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet business objectives, commercial goals, and sustainability targets.
- Lead supplier selection, tendering, contract negotiation, and ongoing supplier relationship management to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate with culinary, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and service excellence through effective partnerships.
- Analyse category performance and implement initiatives to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Stay informed of market trends, risks, and innovations to inform category development and risk mitigation strategies, driving business value and competitiveness.
About You: We seek an experienced professional with a background in procurement, category or supply chain management, preferably within FMCG, food services, or hospitality sectors. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills are essential, along with a track record of delivering cost savings and added value.
Requirements: A tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field is highly desirable, demonstrating your expertise and capabilities in this area.
