About the Role

We are currently seeking a diligent and proactive Thrift Shop Assistant to ensure exceptional customer service, thorough cash handling and banking, quality sorting of donated goods, pricing and maintaining the general appearance and upkeep of the shop.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Process donations efficiently to maximize sales and revenue by receiving, sorting, pricing, and disposing of non-saleable goods
  • Maintain optimal store stock levels
  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Assist in organizing store promotions
  • Support volunteers
  • Contribute to store financial processes including daily cash reconciliation, preparation of cash floats, and banking
  • Ensure the cleaning and maintenance of the store and facilities are upheld
