About the Position

As a Credit Expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless receipt processing and maintaining adherence to Group Credit Standards. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving daily receipts accurately in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate inputting of receipts, adhering to current procedures, and taking swift action on dishonoured cheques from Intermediaries on the same day of notification by Finance.
  • Maintaining and complying with Group Credit Procedures and document safekeeping.
  • Providing exceptional customer service support to contribute to organisational profitability, adhering to targets for service levels, policies outside credit terms, timeliness, and cost.
  • Managing customer refunds in a timely manner in line with agreed service level and ICA agreements.
  • Performing written and verbal account follow-up with partners to mitigate/minimise late payments of premium exceeding Credit Terms.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Experience in a credit control role with telephone collections experience in a complex, matrixed organisation (desirable).
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective planning, prioritisation, task management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combining understanding, empathy, and compassion with the best commercial outcome.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
