Maintenance Professional

The role involves ensuring the overall physical aspects of the community meet established standards for safety, appearance, and operation.

  • Main responsibilities include performing general maintenance tasks, inspecting properties and units, maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness, scheduling make-ready work, purchasing materials, and managing budgets effectively.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Previous experience in apartment or multi-family maintenance is essential
  • A high level of English language proficiency is required (read, speak, write)
  • The ability to pass a full background check is mandatory

Educational requirements and previous experience are as follows:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary
  • At least one year of experience in maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair knowledge is required
  • Experience in an affordable housing environment is preferred
  • Technical training and relevant licenses are also desirable
