We are seeking a skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will provide critical support to children and adolescents in crisis situations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mental health principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities:- Respond to crisis calls and engage clients in crisis intervention.
- Conduct crisis assessments in community or hospital settings.
- Provide resource information and linkage to community providers.
- Develop safety and disposition plans with clients and caregivers.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling).
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in mental health or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
- Hourly rate: $36.06.
- Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
- Location: Cleveland, OH area.
- Entry-level position.
