Strategic Career Development Opportunity

Luther College is seeking a dedicated individual to empower young people to explore and pursue meaningful post-school pathways. This full-time opportunity will play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering a strategic approach to career development across Years 7 to 12.

  • Develop and lead future-focused career education programs
  • Provide personalized consultations to students
  • Manage partnerships with external organizations
  • Support initiatives to enhance career readiness

The successful candidate will be relational, organized, and future-oriented, with strong communication skills and a passion for career education that inspires both students and their families.

About the Role

This position will involve working closely with students, teachers, and external partners to deliver a student-centred approach to career development. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development: Lead the design and delivery of career education programs that align with the college's vision and goals.
  • Student Consultations: Provide one-on-one consultations to students to support their career exploration and planning.
  • Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations to enhance career opportunities for students.
  • Career Readiness: Support initiatives that promote career readiness and provide resources to students to help them achieve their goals.
