Network Change Management Role

Job Description

The Network Change Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT and Network Services. This involves orchestrating the entire lifecycle management of all changes, adhering to ITIL best practices and mitigating risks.

  • Coordinate customer communications for requests for change and planned/unplanned outage notifications.
  • Drive Continuous Service Improvement Plans for Technical Change Management and share progress across the business.
  • Ongoing review and updates of Technical Change Management processes and technical training.
  • Evaluate options to eliminate or reduce the impact of a Change prior to requesting approval from stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule and chair the Change Advisory Board, preparing associated documentation including the Forward Schedule of Change.
  2. Monitor implemented changes during the defined stability period before acceptance into Operational Support.
  3. Conduct Contractual SLA Ratification sessions and provide input to Weekly Operations and Monthly Service Assurance reports.
  4. Liaise with Field Services to manage scheduling of Planned Maintenance and ensure compliance with Site Access requests.
  5. Point of escalation for emergency Change requests, ensuring thorough handover as required.
  6. Participate in process maturity, ISO audits, and planning for continuity exercises.
