Pre-Employment Consultant

Are you passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their vocational and life goals? Do you have a knack for designing and delivering innovative employment programs? We're seeking a skilled Pre-Employment Consultant to join our team at The Disability Trust.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and engage with potential participants to support their employment journey.
- Collaborate with community organizations, employers, and stakeholders to create opportunities for participants to gain work experience and employment.
- Design and deliver person-centered employment programs that cater to the unique needs of participants.
- Develop individualized job and action plans to support participants in achieving their employment goals.
- Represent The Disability Trust at various events and promote the organization's mission and values.
- Sound knowledge of the NDIS and experience in employment services.
- Leadership experience and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of behavioral and sensory support needs of neurodiverse individuals.
- A competitive base salary between $73,000-$79,000, depending on skills and experience.
- Access to $15,900 per year of salary packaging options.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career.
- Support to obtain and maintain your First Aid qualification.
- 5 weeks annual leave (pro rata) and free access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family.
