
Caregiver Development Specialist

Job Summary
You will play a critical role in the professional development of caregivers. You will work collaboratively to deliver, implement, assess, and evaluate learning and development programs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support and guide caregivers to meet individual learning goals and achieve departmental objectives.
- Collaborate with Department Managers, other caregivers, and stakeholders to support learning activities locally.
- Deliver interprofessional learning promoting a positive workplace environment.
- Facilitate learning using adult principles.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and support through experiential learning.
- Create learning events and record completions as directed by the L&D Coordinator.
- Collaborate to support planning, onboarding, delivery, and evaluation of Graduate Programs and Pathway to Speciality Programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current registration as a Health Practitioner with AHPRA.
- Clinical experience in a Medical specialty and commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Knowledge of quality improvement processes and associated links to learning and development programs.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems and MS Office packages.
- Possession of a postgraduate certificate or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with recent experience as an educator, preceptor, or supervisor.
