Cybersecurity Program Manager
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity program that aligns with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a cybersecurity strategy that addresses current and emerging threats
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security weaknesses
- Lead incident response activities to minimize the impact of security breaches
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including PCI-DSS and Essential 8
- Prepare regular security reports to management and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity governance and risk management
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of security frameworks and protocols
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and relationship management
Benefits:
This is a contract role starting immediately through to August 2026, with hourly rates based on your skills and experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a premier government agency and contribute to the development of a world-class cybersecurity program.
