Exciting Opportunity to Join a Growing Manufacturing Firm

Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, business activity statements, goods and services tax, and payroll tax. This will involve performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as month-end adjustments.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. They will also prepare general purpose financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements and coordinate and manage the external audit process.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting and finance, with a degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. They will also have solid grounding in financial and management accounting, including BAS, payroll, GPFS, and audit.

They will also be proficient in MYOB and have experience with Oracle or other ERP systems. Additionally, they will have strong Excel and reporting skills, with the ability to work independently.
