About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the Swifts Creek Future Project as a Project Support Officer. The successful candidate will provide essential project and administrative support to the Project Manager, ensuring the effective delivery of the project.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administration skills, including well-developed written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision. They will also have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office software and be able to adapt to new software applications.

This is a part-time position, working 15.6 hours per week, offering flexibility in the spread of hours across the week. The successful candidate will be based in Swifts Creek and will play an important role in shaping a bright future for the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager, including coordinating meetings, supporting communications, and managing stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports and presentations.
  • Support the development of project plans and timelines.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals and funding applications.
What You'll Need
  • Relevant business or management qualification or a minimum of two years prior small business administration experience.
  • Excellent administration skills, including well-developed written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office software and ability to adapt to new software applications.
  • Current, valid Victorian driver's licence.
