Job Description:

The Department of Health is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Psychologist, working closely with people with complex chronic medical conditions. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the community while enjoying a luxurious lifestyle in Tasmania.

This role involves working across various settings and age ranges, utilizing a broad range of clinical skills to deliver exceptional healthcare outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with individuals with complex chronic medical conditions, including diabetes.
  • Collaborating with the Metabolic Psychologists and team to support readiness for bariatric surgery, including assessments and intervention programs.
  • Providing professional development opportunities for self-growth and innovation.

  • Competitive salary package with pro rata annual rate $110,425 to $121,907.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification/program approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Area of practice Endorsement, if required for the role.
