Job Overview

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is a leading software company seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our IT infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of our business.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work on a wide range of infrastructure projects. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, including Linux, virtualization, cloud computing, and networking.

Main Responsibilities

Key Duties:
• Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our business.
• Work closely with our development teams to ensure that our infrastructure meets their needs and supports the deployment of new applications.
• Collaborate with other infrastructure teams to ensure that our infrastructure is aligned with industry best practices and standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure that our infrastructure is well-documented and easily understood by all team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Skills:
• A strong understanding of Linux and Unix operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Strong scripting skills using languages such as Python, Bash, and Perl.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet and Ansible.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desirable Skills:
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST and PCI-DSS.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Splunk and Tableau.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per year, depending on experience.
