Job Title:
Maintenance Electrician

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production machines, resolving faults and ensuring minimal downtime.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Inspect production and quality critical equipment and fault find* Resolve issues and fix any non-conformances* Seek ways to continuously improve our maintenance practices and strategies* Follow the safe system of work, isolate equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance* Perform safe, efficient and effective emergency repairs* Fault-find on electrical equipment including PLC's, drives and instrumentation systems* Perform equipment inspections, identify improvement opportunities and report on findings* Assist with root cause failure analysis to enhance production machine reliability* Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete tasks and projects* Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals* Identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures* Provide guidance and support to junior technicians and tradespeople as required* Maintain accurate records and reports as needed* Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and company policies* Promote a culture of safety and excellence within the team and organization* Other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements:**
* Electrical trade qualifications (e.g., electrician or electronics engineering degree)* Current A Grade SA Electrical License* Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment* Strong commitment to safety* Experience in fault finding and problem-solving PLC's and drives* Initiative in carrying out equipment repairs* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces* Physical ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment* Good communication and teamwork skills* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines* Familiarity with quality control and assurance procedures* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols* Certification in first aid and CPR* Valid driver's license (optional)
