We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Calibration Technician.
This role will be based in our state-of-the-art laboratory and will focus on the critical task of documenting and creating compliant test methods and work instructions for the testing and calibration of existing equipment, assets, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Calibration Engineers to define testing methods
- Create new work instructions and test method documents, as well as improving and evolving existing documents
- Perform calibration of basic equipment within the Calibration Laboratory
Working Conditions: This is a contract position with an initial term of 12 months. There may be opportunity for progression into a Calibration Specialist role.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Experience working in a NATA (or equivalent) laboratory calibrating/testing electrical equipment
- Experience/capability in the creation of test methods and work instructions
- A working knowledge of the IEC/ISO 17025 standard
- Trade qualification as an Electrician and/or a relevant tertiary level qualification in Applied Science, Engineering, Electrical, Industrial Instrumentation
