Project Manager

Lead and manage the entire project life cycle from concept to execution within a fast-paced operating environment.

  • Oversee implementation ensuring safety of the plant, products, and personnel.
  • Conduct preliminary analysis for projects including building, utilities, services, equipment, and layout.
  • Supervise installation of equipment responsible for budget and scope.
  • Update/create site technical drawings and documentation.
  • Develop basic and detailed design of the project based on corporate business principles, local regulations, and user requirements specifications.
  • Ensure safety by design during construction and ongoing operation of the plant.
  • Coordinate efforts with start-up manager and team to assure smooth transition to operations after qualification and verification of the installation have been finalised.
  • Select, qualify, and coordinate contractors' activities.

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong communication skills with a drive to deliver quality outcomes against the project charter with efficiency.
  • Completion of tertiary study in mechanical, manufacturing, chemical, automation, or mechatronics engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the engineering field.
  • Project management skills including developed analytical and budgetary skills.
  • Experience working in food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Leaders will require a proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.
  • Self-management following defined KPIs/objectives and proactively tracking them.
