Medical Workforce Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced medical professional to lead the establishment of a new medical locum placement service for NSW Health.

  • This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance health and wellness in Australia by leading the development phase with overall responsibility for recruitment, strategic direction, business development, agency operations, IT infrastructure, clinical governance, corporate governance and industrial policy frameworks, communications strategy and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of high-value projects with cross-sector impact.
  • Support the work of NSW Health with expertise in medical workforce planning and clinical governance requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
Requirements:
  • MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA) or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-value projects with cross-sector impact.
  • Strong understanding of the NSW Health system, including industrial relations frameworks, medical workforce planning and clinical governance requirements.
