We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate will oversee the upgrade of technology infrastructure supporting critical systems at the heart of Australia's financial markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a tier-1 technology infrastructure project to upgrade critical network infrastructure supporting equities and derivatives trading platforms
  • Lead a team of 30+ resources either wholly or partially allocated to the project
  • Establish a positive and collaborative team culture that takes ownership and meets project goals and milestones
  • Engagement with key project stakeholders including senior executives and regulators
  • Reporting to project steering guidance group for decision making and escalation
  • Manage and report on project risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and dependencies
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration among team members and external vendors
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies, standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in the delivery of mission-critical, complex technology infrastructure projects
  • A sound understanding of Networking and Connectivity
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Highly desirable – Experience with managing relationships and establishing trust with senior executives
  • Experience in Financial Services or similarly highly regulated industries
