Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans based on project requirements, ensuring seamless execution and defect management.
- Lead automation testing efforts using industry-standard tools like Selenium and Playwright, driving the development of robust frameworks and libraries.
- Cultivate a culture of mentorship, guiding team members in their growth and development while fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to quality assurance proposals that meet client expectations, leveraging expertise in automation and testing to deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution; relevant experience may substitute for education.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in information technology, with a focus on automation and testing.
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Essential Skills
- Proven expertise in UI and API automation using Selenium (Java) and Playwright, along with Rest Assured and Postman.
- Experience in creating reusable, maintainable automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of BDD/TDD principles and tools like Cucumber, Serenity, and Playwright-BDD.
- Scripting/development skills in Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.
- Code coverage and build automation tool proficiency.
- CI/CD and version control tool expertise.
Nice To Have Skills
- Exposure to emerging trends in Quality Engineering, such as RPA, analytics-driven testing, and AI/ML in QA.
- Knowledge of GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and their enterprise adoption.
- Mobile automation solution experience.
