Located on the Main Street in Halls Gap, the brewery has enjoyed immediate success since its opening in 2019, with a focus on brewing beer on site and offering a diverse menu of seasonal dishes.

The ideal candidate will have the energy, passion, and skill to contribute to an already outstanding team. A self-disciplined individual with appropriate qualifications and experience is required for this role.

The kitchen crew at Paper Scissors Rock Brew Co pump out high-quality, seasonally inspired dishes, working in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a creative mind to add to our team of forward thinkers, who are collectively making their mark on the region's evolving food scene.

We are a close-knit team that works well together and enjoys what we do. This is an opportunity to live and work in a popular tourism hub, surrounded by majestic mountains.

We are seeking a full-time Executive Culinary Specialist, but also welcome applications from those interested in casual positions. Further information on the salary and conditions can be provided upon request.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute menus that showcase seasonal ingredients
  • Maintain high standards of quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with the brew team to create innovative beer pairing options
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation

Requirements:

  • Chef de Partie or equivalent experience
  • Degree in culinary arts or related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
