
Healthcare Specialist

This position involves working as a member of an interdisciplinary team within the medical services department. The selected candidate will perform diagnostic tests, operate medical equipment, and provide accurate results for patient care.
The individual in this role will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:- Provide emergency medical services, health examinations, or nursing support to employees.
- Interact with injury management, workers' compensation, and outside compensation providers.
- Offer health education and illness prevention information to employees.
- Prepare, maintain, record, and report accident reports, health histories, and injuries occurring at the worksite.
- Manage inventory of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) equipment and first aid supplies.
- Assist in performing drug and alcohol testing at the worksite.
- Oversee other health-related issues such as drinking water, food preparations, and safety of living areas.
- Perform duties following established procedures.
- Provide healthcare to employees at designated locations.
- Exercise judgment within established procedures and current regulations to select methods and techniques for treatment.
- Apply medical techniques supporting Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE).
- Provide technical proficiency and compassionate patient interactions, supporting healthcare providers in delivering exceptional care.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Work effectively in dynamic environments.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Complete organizational compliance education, including client-specific requirements, for certifications such as Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services or other regulatory bodies.
