Postdoctoral Research Fellow Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our research team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research projects and work with a dynamic team of researchers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality research in the field of immune system and cancer, under the supervision of senior researchers.
  • Develop and implement experimental designs, protocols, and techniques to investigate complex biological processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to achieve research goals.
  • Present research findings at conferences, seminars, and workshops.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g., immunology, molecular biology, cell biology).
  • Strong background in laboratory techniques, including mammalian cell culture, nucleic acid isolation, and DNA/RNA/protein extraction and analysis.
  • Proven ability to work with complex model systems both in vitro and in vivo.
  • Evidence of contribution towards research relevant to the field of study/interest, such as publications, conference presentations, seminars, reports or professional or technical contributions.
  • Ability to provide advice, support and supervise Higher Degree by Research students.
  • Experience in collaborating locally and nationally in the interest of enhancing research outcomes.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new techniques and to tackle experimental bottlenecks creatively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and good understanding of basic statistics.
