Job Description:

As a Principal Taxation Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the department's corporate taxation responsibilities. You will work collaboratively with the A07 part-time PFA (Taxation) to develop and implement an appropriate framework ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

You will lead the high-quality review and analysis of complex taxation matters, issues, proposals, submissions, and other materials to ensure that taxation-related issues are appropriately identified and considered.

Additionally, you will provide specialist advice and input into the research, analysis, and drafting of policies, as well as input into ministerial correspondence and briefings for senior management.

Furthermore, you will lead a small, high-performing finance and taxation team, including daily/weekly task allocation, recruitment, performance, capability development, team communication, and ensuring a safe and diverse work environment.
