Job Overview

This role involves leading a team to deliver taxation solutions. As a senior professional, you will be responsible for overseeing strategic tax advice and business plans tailored to client requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in areas including income tax, capital gains tax, FBT, GST, Division 7A, and transfer pricing.

A strong background in corporate tax is essential, along with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax matters.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic tax advice and business plans tailored to client requirements.
  • Provide taxation consultancy advice and report writing to address client needs.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of complex tax returns and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Drive business development through networking, thought leadership, and identifying cross-divisional client opportunities.
  • Review tax compliance, transfer pricing, and advisory work prepared by junior staff and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a tertiary-qualified and CA or CPA qualified accountant with a strong background in Corporate Tax.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office is essential. Strong communication skills, combined with an ability to work effectively in a team environment, are also required.
