Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Career Development Coach to join our team.

This role will involve working closely with individuals to understand their career aspirations, identifying suitable employment opportunities, and providing tailored coaching and support.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Sourcing and creating career opportunities for clients
  • Championing inclusive employment practices and workforce diversity
  • Engaging with employers to address skill shortages and promote inclusive recruitment
  • Brokering work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility
  • Preparing workplaces to support and retain participants through adjustments and disability confidence training
  • Facilitating employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion
  • Building employer and community networks to create job opportunities
  • Promoting our organization as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals
  • Meeting or exceeding internal and external performance benchmarks
  • Championing our values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice

The ideal candidate will have qualifications in employment or human services, as well as proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively. They will also have a strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
