Technical Support Engineer

The Harry James Group is partnering with a global leader in technology to find a Technical Support Engineer to join their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pre-sales technical support for PV Inverter, BESS PCS, and BESS products.
  • Offer timely and excellent customer support, maintaining strong relationships with clients' technical teams.
  • Support bidding processes on large-scale PV, BESS, and hybrid projects, creating technical solution proposals based on available products and documents.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, supporting the commercial team on relevant reviews.
  • Participate in technical marketing activities, presenting clients' technologies and solutions to the market.
  • Stay up-to-date with local applicable standards and the latest technologies concerning products and underlying technologies.
  • Assist in market analyses, including customer demand and feedback, market trends, and more.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must have full working rights in Australia.
  • A minimum of five years of renewable energy industry experience.
  • Good understanding of PV and BESS systems and renewable energy system designs.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience in Electrical Engineering, working with inverter manufacturers, large-scale project developers, and EPCs is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to engage with and influence various stakeholders.
  • Verbal and written Chinese communication skills are preferred.
