Planned Activity Group Worker

$42.00 p.h % Superannuation

We have an amazing opportunity for experienced Male Aged Care Worker to join a team supporting the elderly to live better.

Requirements include being an experienced aged care professional with a great attitude, caring nature and ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities will include incorporating physical exercise into activity programs and assisting in creating fun and engaging focused days for clients.

Additionally, you will be involved in In-Home respite support to a Male client on Tues and Thurs afternoons and driving a mini bus when the group attends outings (normal licence required)

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering social activity programs in a way that supports client independence
  • Well-developed time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Understanding of client confidentiality and information privacy
  • Experience in Aged Care
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
  • Interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a friendly, professional manner

Qualifications:

  • A satisfactory National Criminal Police Record Check prior to commencement
  • Working with Children Check
  • Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Certificate III or IV in either Aged Care, Individual Support or Leisure and Health
  • Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
