About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our support team as an Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator at Raelene Boyle Village in Aberfeldie. This is a part-time position working Monday 09:30-16:30 and Sunday 10:00-16:00 in our Care Centre.

We love when our lifestyle coordinators use their creative flair to make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents. This is a diverse role, and no two days are the same You will:

  • Plan, schedule, facilitate, and run activities within our village
  • Ensure our activities calendar meets requirements around physical, mental, and social activities
  • Curate and develop flyers/communications around monthly events
  • Promote happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for all residents
  • Work closely with the broader activities team to ensure our events calendar runs smoothly
  • Run our resident bingo - it sure is a fan favourite
  • Assist in the delivery of various workshops, social, and craft activities. Anything from bake-offs, fashion shows, and floristry demonstrations
  • Accompany residents on various outings

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment, you will have:

  • Strong empathy
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A creative flair you're not afraid to let shine
  • Certificate III / IV in Leisure & Lifestyle is desired (but not essential for the right candidate)
  • Experience working in aged care is a plus but not essential
