Job Opportunity

Maintenance is a vital role in our five-star resort, where you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient daily operation of mechanical and electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include overseeing Preventative and Reactive Maintenance Programs (PMP and RMP), driving program deliverables to eliminate unscheduled downtime.

You will lead by example, educating staff and guests on environmental policies. You will participate in public relations exercises, such as garden tours, and ensure punctual and efficient service is provided to our Guests. As a leader, your skills will be tested as you recruit, train, and develop trade colleagues, managing performance within the department.

Key qualifications for this role include trade or academic qualifications, with Electrical trade qualification and high voltage switching being highly desirable. Confined space entry and working at heights are also beneficial. A Queensland General Safety Induction Card and at least 3-5 years in an operational manager, construction manager, or engineering manager role are required. Hotel or Resort experience is highly regarded.
