We are seeking a highly skilled Statistical Data Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and applying statistical spatial and spatio-temporal models to meet the challenges faced in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement physical-statistical models
  • Apply Bayesian inference and uncertainty quantification techniques
  • Develop efficient algorithms for optimization
  • Model and analyze time series data using statistical machine learning methods

The appointee will work closely with researchers and experts in oceanography, engineering, and data science to drive innovation and advancement in the field.

To be successful, you will have or be close to having a PhD in Statistics or a closely related discipline, with excellent programming skills and communication abilities.
