We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to develop methodological approaches in Statistical Data Science and address challenges in the energy sector.
The appointee will work closely with a vibrant research environment comprising inter-disciplinary expertise in oceanography, engineering, and data science.
Requirements:- PhD in Statistics or a closely related field.
- Excellent statistical modelling, programming, and communication skills.
This is a three-year position with a possibility for extension.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with researchers on projects including statistical spatial and spatio-temporal modelling, Bayesian inference, and uncertainty quantification.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing optimal statistical models for complex data sets.
