Principal Programme Leader

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our delivery team as a Senior Project Manager.

This role will involve overseeing and collaborating with stakeholders, including the project team and lead sub-contractors / consultants to achieve customer and company objectives for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of predominantly complex projects
  • Develop strategic relationships with industry partners and international entities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, aligned to business objectives
  • Foster a positive and collaborative culture between key project stakeholders and the project team
  • Become the focal point for customer contact and build a trusted relationship
  • Ensure timely activity, integration, and efficient use of time and resources to meet requirements
  • Diligently document project requirements and/or objectives in a business case and/or project brief
  • Establish key success indicators (KSI's) and recommend trade-offs between scope, quality, time, and cost
  • Monitor KSI's relevance and influence enhancements where valuable
  • Evaluate products and services delivered as part of a project against Product Safety Policy and customer satisfaction standards
  • Develop a risk management culture to continuously mitigate known risk areas
  • Communicate risk position and business impacts beyond the project team
  • Direct and motivate the broader matrix project team
  • Identify and address training and development needs for the project team
  • Complete closure and wrap-up activities upon project completion, including lessons learned
  • Mentor developing Project Managers
Requirements
  • Significant experience in Project Management
  • Ability to problem solve and work autonomously
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate strategy/purpose and link to objectives and project deliverables
  • Proven ability to negotiate with and influence internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to think innovatively and plan strategically
  • Excellent communication skills with adaptability
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders to obtain necessary deliverables
  • Eligibility for defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Eligibility for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
