
Inventory Manager

Our team is seeking a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our global family. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory using a computerized database system.
The primary objective of this role is to liaise with customers regarding the flow of inventory in and out of the warehouse, which covers various tasks such as order preparation, location planning, inventory maintenance and storage location planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure accurate numbers are received and despatched
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity and location discrepancies between stock and records
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximise efficiency and cut operational costs
- Respond to customer enquiries; collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipment
- Track rates of accuracy, prepare inventory reports; review reports monthly with management
- Assist with quality control for both receipted and despatched products
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of related experience in retail, wholesale, warehousing, or logistics
- Proficient with computers and other standard office technology
- Familiarity with warehouse software
- Ability to deal with numbers quickly and accurately
- Superior organisational and communication skills
- Current LF forklift licence preferred
