About the Role

The South Australia Police is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Officer to join its Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking project and administrative duties to assist the efficiency and effectiveness of the Mobile Workforce Transformation Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, accurate, and proactive advice and support on a broad range of issues and priorities, including research, data collection, and the collation and preparation of reports and correspondence.
  • Act as the executive officer for boards and forums reporting to the Program Director.
  • Be responsible for minor projects linked to improving efficiency and effectiveness of systems, processes, and practices associated with the Program.
  • Demonstrate the ability to efficiently triage matters and follow up actions.
  • Prove capability to prepare and present information for the Program Manager or team members.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely collation of information.
  • Draft correspondence and provide secretariat support.
  • Experience acting as the executive officer for boards and forums.
  • Develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify, establish, and maintain procedures and processes to promote organisational effectiveness.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas for improvement and implementing approved solutions.
Requirements
  • Hold a current Australian work eligibility status.
  • Be subject to a criminal history check.
  • Be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
