Speech Pathologist Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team.

  • This role will provide high-quality services and clinical leadership within the Speech Pathology department across rehabilitation and GEM wards.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert speech pathology services to patients with communicative and swallowing disorders.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality care and support their professional development.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and vision of the department, ensuring alignment with current Speech Pathology Australia professional standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent.
  • Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and knowledge of relevant position papers and Code of Ethics.
  • At least 7 years' experience in adult Speech Pathology.
