Job Title: Compensation Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled administrator to join on a 6 month contract. As a Compensation Specialist, you will provide service, support and advice on workers compensation.

  • Providing services, support and advice on workers compensation administration using knowledge and escalating complex issues to experts.
  • Maintaining master data within the enterprise resource planning system and records within the records management system.
  • Maintaining knowledge of and interpreting employment conditions, entitlements, legislation, awards, policies, procedures, and completing manual calculations and adjustments to ensure the integrity of payments and entitlements.
  • Contributing to the development of knowledge that assists the support community.
  • Capturing, updating, and closing tickets to meet service levels, and identifying issues, proposing solutions and implementing new ways of working.
  • Understanding and acting on the responsibility to report new risks or increase in risk in a timely way.
  • Supporting other members of the team as required, checking the processing of officers to ensure accuracy of information entered into the system and efficient functioning of the team.
