We are seeking a highly skilled Clinician to join our team and provide specialist trauma-specific therapeutic counselling and casework services to children, young people and their families/carers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and interagency partners to optimise outcomes for vulnerable children and their families/carers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality specialist trauma-specific therapeutic counselling and casework services to children, young people and their families/carers.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and interagency partners to achieve optimal outcomes for vulnerable children and their families/carers.
- Utilize effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Exercise independent professional judgement while working within a multidisciplinary team and with interagency partners.

Requirements:
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist OR relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work or Counselling with eligibility to the respective Australian professional association.
- Post graduate experience providing high-level specialist social work or psychology services to vulnerable children, young people and their families/carers with an understanding of relevant legislation and NSW Health policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to build partnerships with key stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for vulnerable children and their families/carers.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and organise workload and deliver care in keeping with AASW Code of Ethics or Aust. Psychology Board standards.
- Commitment to and experience in providing professional development, quality improvement, clinical supervision and student supervision.
