About the OpportunityWe are seeking expressions of interest from motivated and driven Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people to fill a range of full-time, part-time, and casual roles across our organisation.
- This includes geologists, accountants, rangers, project officers, communication specialists, cultural capability advisors, research scientists, plumbers, electricians, and field workers.
Candidates will have the opportunity to work from any one of our sites across Australia and will be supported to create and develop a dynamic career that best fits their aspirations.

Our Staff forum offers a mechanism for the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff to contribute to CSIRO's directions.
What We OfferCandidates will be provided with coaching and training and development to help them achieve their employment goals. They will have access to a range of world-class facilities across Australia and will be offered an attractive remuneration package that includes a generous superannuation scheme, flexible work options, travel, and multiple leave options including paid maternity and parental leave, where applicable.
The successful candidates will be required to provide evidence to confirm that they are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. Depending on individual role requirements, successful applicants may be required to provide contact details of at least one Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Cultural Referee to confirm their ability to work and communicate respectfully with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Appointment to any role is subject to provision of a national police check and may be subject to other security/medical/character requirements.
