Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel Policy and Advice: Provide expert advice on travel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) and department policies and legislation.
  • Travel Data Management: Prepare and analyze travel data for monthly reports and other ad-hoc reports as requested.
  • Process Development and Review: Develop and regularly review work instructions for travel processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including responding to travel queries via shared inboxes and helpdesks.
  • Business Planning and Improvement: Contribute to business planning and improvement initiatives, including assisting with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
  • System Administration: Perform general administration tasks on internal and external systems, including Concur, CTM, TechOne, and Travel Pack.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and Experience: Have a good understanding of the Whole of Government Travel Service Arrangements and experience in using expense management and finance management systems, such as Concur and TechOne.
  • Travel Management Experience: Experience in travel management systems, such as CTM, Visalink, and Travel Pack.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and data analysis.
  • Soft Skills: Strong administrative and organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and ability to work independently or under limited guidance.
