Job Title: Technical Specialist

Job Summary:

As a technical expert, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, implementing, and debugging complex technology solutions. This role requires in-depth knowledge of technology systems, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop system designs and provide business process analysis to support the development of solutions for interfacing business and computer application systems.
  • Design, develop, or modify procedures to solve complex business problems considering client needs, process analysis, design, simulation, application capabilities, and industry requirements.
  • Perform high-level system analysis and present findings to management.
  • Lead work on all phases of systems analysis, including enterprise-level business processes and systems.
  • Analyze complex requirements, plan, and design large-scale business applications using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling, and information engineering.
  • Ensure user experience considerations are incorporated into solution requirements and design.
  • Provide assistance to team members and users in solving complex application-related problems.
  • Minimize deployment risks by utilizing a risk-based approach in all duties.
  • Maintain expertise in testing documentation and execution skills.
  • Coordinate the installation of application enhancements and net new applications of moderate complexity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology-related field or equivalent education and related training.
  • SQL proficiency, familiarity with APIs, and microservice architecture.
  • Ten years of experience and high proficiency with information technologies such as information security best practices, IT performance/scalability principles, relational database technologies, and mainframe, distributed, Web, and/or networking technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent collaborative and consultative skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
