About the Job:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior National Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of logistics, driving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • National Business Leadership: Lead financial and operational performance across national customer contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Business Analysis and Development: Drive business analysis and development, including profitability reviews, rate negotiations, and new business proposals.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, including audits, SOPs, and quality documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement by streamlining reporting and operational processes.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customer representatives.
  • Human Resources and Industrial Relations: Oversee human resources and industrial relations performance, ensuring teams are trained, competent, and aligned with company values.
  • Health and Safety: Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Act as the key contact for customers on contract and service-related matters, ensuring service excellence and contract compliance.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Several years' experience in logistics and business management, ideally in a national or multi-site capacity.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive performance across diverse operations.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with SAP and a solid understanding of warehouse and transport systems.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Educational Qualifications: A degree in business management, accounting, or economics (desirable).
