Job Title: Buying Assistant

Our organisation is looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Buying Assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the buying process, managing product registration and maintenance, and coordinating administrative tasks.

This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a passion for product, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing product registration and maintenance across internal systems
  • Supporting the buyer with range planners, new line order trackers and promotional activity
  • Coordinating administrative tasks including store bulletins, PO tracking, and supplier communication
  • Assisting with catalogue development, marketing briefs, and managing photography assets
  • Organising and maintaining samples for presentations, photography, and our sample room
  • Uploading promotional pricing and assisting with price and promo accuracy in systems
  • Developing product knowledge to provide support to both internal teams and external suppliers
Required Skills:
  • Sharp attention to detail and a proactive mindset
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
