The Lighthouse Recruitment team is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Care Manager to join our client's 100-bed, fully accredited Aged Care facility. This leading facility is based in a picturesque region and boasts a passionate Aged Care team dedicated to delivering exceptional care.
About the Role:
The Clinical Care Manager will report directly to the Facility Manager and play a crucial role in monitoring Training and Education, leading the clinical team to meet high clinical standards that cater to the unique needs of residents, and managing the clinical care staff team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including funding and policy protocols.
- Show the ability to operate independently and professionally with minimal supervision.
- Interpret work within relevant policy guidelines.
- Understand the needs of older adults, particularly those with cognitive decline.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Welfare, Nursing, or Social Sciences.
- Experience in Aged Care accreditation and clinical standards, dementia, and challenging behaviors.
- Experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
