Job Summary

The Group Strategy Analyst position plays a vital role in driving business growth and success. This strategic role focuses on group strategy, valuation, acquisitions, funding, and key initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual and mid-year group strategy reviews and support business unit planning.
  • Develop and manage the organization's valuation model, including updates, forecasts, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain the acquisition pipeline, conduct financial assessments, coordinate due diligence, and support bid modelling.
  • Provide market research and financial analysis for new opportunities and emerging sectors.
  • Monitor funding metrics, support refinancing, and assess funding impacts of investments.
  • Collaborate with executives, advisors, and internal teams to apply risk, safety, and cyber security frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Post-grad/industry qualifications (CFA, MBA, CA) preferred.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling, valuation, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with energy sector feasibility studies desirable.
